LOCAL FOOTBALL legend Russell Latapy will partner with Trinidad and Tobago Golf Association ( TTGA) president Wayne Baptiste to represent this country in the Caribbean Golf Association (CGA) Four-Ball Championship that tees off at the Tobago Plantations golf course in Lowlands, Tobago from October 16-21.
Latapy and Baptiste were one of six two-member teams selected by the TTGA following a two-day trial event at the St Andrew’s golf course in Moka that concluded Thursday.
Contingents from-the other Caribbean Islands will be participating and stiff competition will be the order of the day.
This game promises lots of action with nail biting finishes
Trinidad and Tobago selections for CGA Four-Ball Championships:
Men 70 years and over- Pran Rajendranath and Maurice Mathura
Men 60years and over- Richard Camacho and Angard Sonnilal
Men 50 years and over – Wayne Baptiste and Russell Latapy
Men 35 years and over – Clint Alfred and Desrond Ambrose
Ladies 45 years and over- Violet Roopchand and Ingrid Seeberan
Ladies 25 years and over – Victoria Seenath and Tori Baptiste.
