Locked Up Abroad: My Past 10-Day Nightmare in Trinidad! 🇹🇹

The last ten days have been nothing short of a nightmare. Already grappling with the gravity of a sedition charge, I found myself thrust into a maelstrom of further distress when I was summoned for questioning once again. This time, my electronics were seized under allegations of money laundering. After enduring fourteen grueling hours of interrogation, devoid of any substantial evidence against me, I was finally released at 11 p.m., only to face another shock within less than 24 hours.

Three SUVs arrived at my residence, and I was abruptly arrested once more—this time on a deportation order. My world plunged further into chaos as I was confined in solitary detention at the Immigration Detention Centre for three harrowing days. Despite my lawyers’ best efforts, I remained ensnared in a legal quagmire, unable to escape the relentless grip of the Trinidadian judicial system. Since my arrival in Trinidad and Tobago, I had been effectively held hostage, my passport seized and withheld by the high court.

In these ten days, I have been pushed to the brink, caught in a relentless struggle for freedom and justice. This is the story of how I navigated the treacherous waters of international legal conflict, facing the darkest hours of my life.
