Man abducted and robbed in Chaguanas

Central Division police are investigating a report in which a 28-year-old man was abducted, assaulted, and robbed.

The ordeal began around 1:30 am on Sunday along Boodram Street in Enterprise.

The victim went to visit a friend who lives in the area.

While parked along the roadway in his Hyundai Elantra, he was confronted by men who police said spoke Spanish, both holding firearms.

The men announced a hold-up, and the victim was forced to lie on the ground.

He was then beaten and his mobile phones and cash were taken

He was then ordered into the Elantra, and the suspects also entered the car.

The victim was then taken to Rodney Branch Road Endeavour Chaguanas against his will, where he was dropped off. 

The suspects then escaped in the victim’s vehicle.
