Man gunned down in Mt D’or

Police were at the scene of a homicide in Mt D’or on Thursday, after a man was found lying in a pool of blood. 

Authorities said the incident took placejust before 7am along Mt D’or Road. 

Residents of the area said they heard a series of loud explosions and upon investigating they found a man lying in a pool of blood inside an unfinished concrete structure off the roadway.

They notified the police and emergency health services.

A team of officers from the Homicide Bureau as well as the Northern Division responded.

Up to 10am Thursday, police said the deceased had yet to be positively identified.
