María Corina Machado asks judicial officials not to follow orders that violate the laws
Venezuelan opposition leader María Corina Machado This Tuesday he called on judicial officials not to follow orders that violate the Constitution and the lawsalmost two months after the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) validated the questioned re-election of Nicolás Maduro.
“The time has come for all judicial officials to be the face of courage and dignity, for you not to follow orders that violate the Constitution and for you to defend your own,” said the opponent in an audio broadcast on social networks.
The request comes a day after the TSJ, with a pro-government line, rejected two requests for review by former candidates opposed to the August 22 ruling that validated Maduro’s re-election on July 28 amid allegations of fraud.

The National Electoral Council (CNE) proclaimed Maduro re-elected for a third six-year term (2025-2031) with 52% of the votes without publishing the details of the scrutiny, as required by law, after alleging a hack to the system.
The opposition led by Machado published on a website copies of electoral records with which they claim a victory for González, exiled in Spain after an arrest warrant against him.
Maduro hinted on Monday with laughter that Machado had also left the country. The opponent has not declared on the matter, although on previous occasions He has denied the possibility of going into exile.
Machado has also called on the Army to “make” the electoral results respected, something that has been described by the Minister of Defense, Vladimir Padrino López, as so-called “seditious.”
