María Corina Machado says that the accusation against her shows the weakness of the Maduro government

Indictment against María Corina Machado
This Friday, the Prosecutor’s Office began an investigation against Machado by pointing out that she supported the bill approved by the US House of Representatives that prohibits US Government institutions from hiring people or companies that have commercial ties with the Maduro Executive. .
The bill was presented by Florida representatives Mike Waltz, Republican, and Debbie Wasserman Schultz, Democrat, who believe, in the former’s words, that the United States should “maintain existing sanctions against the regime and seek to expand them to minimize resources.” of Maduro to abuse the freedoms and prosperity of the Venezuelan people.
After the presidential elections, the National Electoral Council proclaimed Maduro’s victory without publishing the detailed results, which is why a large part of the international community questions this victory, while the largest opposition coalition indicates that González Urrutia is the winner, according to 83.5 % of the minutes that they claim to have gathered through board members.
Maduro, for his part, calls these documents false and affirms that he will be sworn in on January 10, when the next presidential term begins.
