TODAY’S HIGHLIGHTS:
Three (3) Venezuelan women were allegedly kidnapped near a supermarket at Hoyte Avenue, Arima on Sunday 10th November 2024.
• The women had just been dropped off at the supermarket around 6:00pm, when a grey vehicle pulled up next to them.
• Two men and three women subsequently exited the vehicle and forced the three women into the car, which then sped off.
• Relatives later received a text message that stated that the women were being held until a sum of money was paid back.
44-year-old Jamie Mohammed of Mendez Village, Siparia was last seen on Friday 18th October, 2024.
Parents cried out for help as their son ‘Anil’ has been threatening to kill them when he drinks alcohol and smoke marijuana.
• Anil also allegedly physically assaulted his parents while under the influence.
A man yet to be identified was shot and killed after he reportedly went to kill another man in Morvant on Sunday, 10th November 2024.
• The shooting incident happened at a house at Stevenville, Las Alturas, in Morvant.
A Rio Claro man was shot dead on Saturday 9th November 2024, one week after he was beaten, and his head “buss up” by another man.
• The deceased is 36-year-old Terry Aaron of Union Village in Rio Claro.
• Aaron and his cousin, 36-year-old Marvin St. Cyr were shot while outside Fifty Shades of Gold Bar in Rio Claro.
• The victims were approached by several men, one of them identified as Josiah Lewis, who shot at them around 11:45pm.
• Approximately one week ago, Aaron was beaten by Lewis and other persons who burst the victim’s head.
A 24-year-old man was shot dead while an 80-year-old man was shot & wounded in Laventille on Friday 8th November 2024.
• The deceased have been identified as Shaquille John of John Street, Laventille.
