MOONILAL ACCUSES HINDS OF FIRE RISKS IN T&T

Dr Roodal Moonilal, MP for Oropouche East and Shadow Minister of National Security, released a statement today accusing Minister of National Security Fitzgerald Hinds of putting the country at fire risk due to the shortage of equipment at the Trinidad and Tobago Fire Service. Moonilal stated that Minister Hinds continues to put the country’s safety and security at risk, accusing him of being incompetent and negligent. He said the revelation of the Fire Service Association concerning the shortage of life-saving equipment was another instance of Hind’s poor performance as national security minister. He said the Fire Service Association has reported that nine fire stations across the country lack working appliances, and there’s a shortage of life-saving equipment and supplies. Moonilal stated that despite these unfortunate circumstances, fire officers must be commended for their commitment to their duty.
