Mother and stepfather of four minors arrested for sexual abuse
Officials from the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigation Corps (Cicpc) arrested Luis Alberto Astudillo Torres, 36, and Yalizka Maite Nieves Díaz, 35, for committing “constant sexual abuse” against his four minor children.
Douglas Rico, director of the Cicpc, detailed in a publication on Instagram that the citizens were requested by the Eighth Court of First Instance in Functions of Control, Hearing and Measures of the Criminal Judicial Circuit with Jurisdiction in Matters of Crimes Against Women of the Judicial District of the Metropolitan Area of Caracas, for “aggravated, continuous sexual abuse with penetration and cruel treatment and omission in said crime”.
The uniformed officers determined that the detainees are the mother and stepfather of four minors: a 16-year-old teenager with a special condition, another 14-year-old, an 11-year-old boy and a 6-year-old girl. The arrest was achieved in the El Silencio sector, Cathedral parish, and in the 23 de Enero parish, in the Libertador municipality of Caracas.
The detainees committed “constant sexual abuse against them and physically attacked them to the point of causing burns and bruises on their bodies,” Rico said.
Astudillo Torres and Nieves Díaz were placed under the order of the Court that requires them.
