Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago – October 25, 2024 – The National Institute of Higher Education, Research, Science, and Technology (NIHERST) is pleased to announce the winners of the 2024 Teach ME Teachers’ Virtual Curriculum Competition, an initiative designed to drive excellence in digital curriculum development. This year’s competition, which attracted innovative entries from educators across Trinidad and Tobago, recognised outstanding curriculum designs that bring subject matter to life through technology, creativity, and student-centered learning.
The Teach ME Virtual Curriculum Competition aligns with NIHERST’s commitment to supporting educators in Trinidad and Tobago and empowering students with skills that prepare them for a rapidly evolving world. Participants submitted digitally produced videos covering core Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) subjects and integrating problem-solving, critical thinking, and interactive engagement. The winning videos were selected based on creativity, innovation, accessibility, and alignment with educational standards.

Each winner will receive a gift of units, a certificate of achievement, and the opportunity to have their curriculum-based video showcased on NIHERST’s digital platforms, reaching a broad audience of educators and students across Trinidad and Tobago.
