Opposition Leader embraces ‘gangsta’ lyrics to deal with criminals

Opposition Leader Kamla Persad-Bissessar came under fire from Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley and National Security Minister Fitzgerald Hinds for her embracing of gangsta lyrics.

She used lyrics from a Trinibad song calling on licensed gun owners to “load up the ‘matic and “cock it and knock it on them” when faced with criminal intruders, during a recent political meeting.
