Over 3,000 Online Exemption Applications Received

National Security Minister Stuart Young says despite a frenzy created that there were tens of thousands of stranded Nationals abroad, the new online application exemption system only ‘notched up’ just over 3,000 applications since being launched on January 22nd.

The system which went live on January 25th, received a total of 3,260 applications as of February 1st.

Mr. Young now has some questions as to the remaining requests for exemptions prior to the introduction of the online system.
