Pakistan Linked to Terror Threat Ahead of T20 World Cup | First Sports with Rupha Ramani

Ahead of the 2024 T20 World Cup in the United States and the West Indies, Cricket West Indies reportedly received a terror threat from northern Pakistan. Security measures are being heightened in response. The ICC has issued a joint statement along with the West Indies cricket board saying that necessary security measures are being implemented to mitigate safety risks. Additionally, Trinidad and Tobago’s Prime Minister Keith Rowley has said that CARICOM and security agencies are working to combat threats to the T20 World Cup. The event will be held in the United States and the West Indies between June 2-29.
