Pinto Road man shot dead while showering

An Arima man was fatally shot on Sunday night while showering.

Jawanza Richards, 40, of Sesame Street, Pinto Road, Arima, was reportedly gunned down around 8:15 pm on December 8. At the time of the attack, he was showering in an unfinished concrete structure at the back of his house.

A close female relative heard gunshots and, upon checking, found Richards lying on the bathroom floor with multiple gunshot wounds.

Forensic officials recovered 34 spent shells of assorted calibres at the scene.
