Police intercept stolen vehicle in Arima, suspect escapes
A stolen vehicle from Claxton Bay was intercepted this morning along the Eastern Main Road near La Retreat Road, Arima, following a high-speed chase.
Guardian Media understands the chase began in Valencia around 3:00 am today (September 10, 2024).
Police tried to set up a roadblock, but the suspects rammed their vehicles, which caused them to run off the road.
Police say despite possibly being shot, one of the suspects escaped the scene.
Investigations continue.
