Police Officers To Be Stationed At Prisons
Officers attached to the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service will soon be stationed within the walls of the Maximum Security Prison.
The move follows the launch of an Inter-Agency Task Force that was commissioned on Wednesday, following the murder of Acting Superintendent of Prisons, Wayne Jackson on Tuesday evening.
On Thursday, Commissioner of Police, Gary Griffith, and a team visited the Prison at Golden Grove, Arouca, to ascertain areas where police officers would be deployed.
