Potential Tropical Cyclone Nine has formed in the Western Caribbean Sea

National Hurricane Center: Tropical Storm Warnings and Hurricane Watches have already been issued for portions of Mexico and Cuba.

This disturbance is forecast to strengthen over the next few days, potentially reaching hurricane strength by mid-week. The northeastern Gulf Coast states of the United States are monitoring closely.

The next name on the Atlantic Hurricane 2024 list is Helene.

This system poses no threat to Trinidad and Tobago.
