Reservoir update: Levels continue to rise
Reservoir levels across the country continue to cross the halfway mark–based on the Long Term Average (LTA) expected.
In an update on Thursday (November 7), the Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) noted that to date, water levels at its Arena reservoir currently stand at 51.70 per cent or 106.45 feet. The LTA for this reservoir is 80.5 per cent or 114.26 feet.
Two weeks ago, on October 24, the reservoir stood at 45.57 per cent capacity, or 104.5 feet in depth.
Meantime, WASA’s Hollis reservoir has a current capacity of 57.17 per cent or 608.0 feet. Its LTA stands at 80.49 per cent or 615.02 feet.
Two weeks ago Hollis stood at 49.46 per cent or 606.1 feet.
The current levels at the Navet reservoir in South Trinidad stand at 48.15 per cent or 297.5 feet. Its expected LTA is 81.48 per cent or 307.5 feet.
Navet stood at 49.14 per cent or 297.7 feet two weeks ago.
Over at Tobago, WASA’s Hillsborough stands at 99 per cent capacity or 869.8 feet…. A one per cent drop.
