  • Sep, Tue, 2024

The Attorney General of Venezuela, Tarek William Saabreported this Tuesday, September 24, that opened an investigation process against the platform Almost Venezuela.

“There is a farce going on there that we are taking seriously, we are investigating it. A new group of American mercenaries with the support of cowardly individuals, fugitives from justice who live in the United States.”he said at a press conference.

Saab stressed that anyone who collaborates by giving money to the aforementioned platform is an accomplice to serious crimes. “It is a national and transnational crime,” he indicated.

He also questioned the modus operandi that those involved are using to promote the operation on social media.

«Where has it been seen that in a public and communicative way, recording live on Instagram, they call to kill the Venezuelan nation. To invade, mercenary style, as happened in Iraq and Libya and nobody says anything. Those who support it, we already have the list, it is an ongoing investigation by the Public Ministry, they will have to pay for these crimes that are totally gruesome and unprecedented»he stated.

Finally, Saab stressed that there have been no precedents of a military incursion of this type in Venezuela.

«They didn’t even record live videos or videos in Operation Gedeón. The Venezuelan government had all the data and we were able to thwart the mercenary action that aimed to bathe this country in blood. But these people from Ya Casi Venezuela do it every day, going out with a little shirt, all sticky, strange, talking about how they are going to invade and kill. They ask for money, the accomplices who give the money participate in the crime, because it is both a national and transnational crime,» he concluded.

What is the Ya Casi Venezuela platform?
