On social media they reported this Sunday that there are several areas without electricity in Caracas. Among the places that do not have the service are Cumbres de Curumo, Santa Monica, La Boyera, Bello Monte, among others.

There is no official information on this fault yet, but it occurred amid some rain that fell in the afternoon.

This new problem in the country’s electrical system occurs shortly after a major blackout in Venezuela.

The government of Nicolas Maduro He said the country suffered a “sabotage” that left Caracas and the 23 states of the country without electricity, some of which suffer power outages or fluctuations in service almost daily.

Electricity in Venezuela with constant failures

Organizations such as Ve Sin Filtro reported that, on average, Internet connection dropped by up to 20% across the country, meaning that 8 out of 10 Venezuelans were left, at least for a few hours, without being able to access social networks, digital payment methods and electronic communication channels.

The blackout also limited – in some cases completely – the telephone signal, and left subway transport out of service, as well as thousands of traffic lights, which resulted in a traffic and pedestrian chaos, especially for those who went to work despite the power failure.
