Trinidad and Tobago’s men’s senior national football team has arrived in Tobago for their Concacaf Nations League match against French Guiana at the Dwight Yorke Stadium on Tuesday.

The Soca Warriors fell to a heavy 4-0 defeat at the hands of Honduras on Friday and now face an uphill task of making it to the quarterfinals of the tournament.

French Guiana earned a point from their opening game, drawing goalless with Jamaica at Kingston on the weekend.

Interim national men’s national team head coach Derek King emphasized the importance of Tuesday’s match after the defeat against Honduras.

Charlotteville-born Kevon Woodley has called on fans to come out in their numbers to support the national team for the match.

“I want to see my friends, my family, my neighbors, the whole of Tobago to come to Bacolet on Tuesday,” he told TTFA Media.

Trinidad and Tobago also has home and away matches against Cuba in October.

The top two teams in the group move forward to the quarterfinals of the Concacaf Nations League while the bottom two teams face relegation to League B.
