Soldier accidentally shoots police officer 

A police officer was accidentally shot by a soldier on Thursday night at the San Juan Police Station, according to official reports. 
The incident occurred in the station’s charge room at approximately 11:10 PM.
Sources revealed that the officer, whose name has not been released, sustained a gunshot wound to his left leg. 
The shooting was reportedly the result of an accidental discharge of a firearm by a member of the Trinidad and Tobago Defence Force. It is unclear what led to the mishap.
The injured officer was quickly taken for medical treatment. 
His condition remains undisclosed at this time, but authorities have confirmed that an investigation is underway to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the event.
