The Communist Party of Venezuela demands results
The union secretary of the Communist Party of Venezuela in Carabobo, Arvilio Hidalgo, believes that the constituted powers conspired to give him a blow to the Constitution popular sovereignty, since more than a month before the presidential elections, the results of the audits that should have been done to the minutes with the results.
He believes that regardless of who the winner was, these audits are of unavoidable necessity for preserve article 5 of the constitutionwhich establishes that sovereignty resides in the people, who exercise it through voting.
Hidalgo also demands that the government cease labor persecution and dismissals of workers for their political thoughtsa situation that he said has been occurring in some state-owned companies.
He reiterated his request to the government of Nicolás Maduro a salary increase which includes the minimum wage, pensions and retirements indexed to the basic family basket, as established in article 91 of the Constitution.
He also requested the repeal of the Onapre Instruction and Circular 2792, instruments that, he pointed out, violate legal and constitutional regulations..
