Marlene Venegas, known as the Little Red Riding Hood of Chacaowho was characterized as a firm activist of Chavismo, He passed away this Friday, October 4, in the early morning hours.
This was announced on social networks by journalist Madelein García.
«Marlene Venegas, better known as the Little Red Riding Hood of Chacao, passed away. Marlene is a living example of the inclusion and visibility of popular bases. She was a leader in Chacao and Commander Chávez loved the revolution,” she indicated in X.
Militants of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela and Venezuelan government officials mourned Venegas’ death.
On September 15, the Minister of Culture, Ernesto Villegas, presented the results of the Little Red Riding Hood of Chacao rag doll contest, in which artisans from nine states of the country paid tribute to Venegas.
