The person responsible for a quadruple homicide in Falcón is arrested

He quadruple homicide that occurred on September 30 in the Areguito sector of the Santa Cruz de Bucaral parish, in the state of Falcón, was resolved with the capture of the person responsible.

Emilio Medina, 67 years old, murdered his ex-partner Daicys Albertina Monje Arteaga (45), his daughters Daimarys Dessiré Monje Arteaga (17) and Dailimar Betzabeth Monje Arteaga (22), as well as his son-in-law Enderson Álvarez Cordero (29 ), according to information published by Douglas Rico, director of the Cicpc.

The investigation revealed that Medina, who had a romantic relationship with Daicys, He did not accept the separation that she decided weeks before the crime.

On the day of the events, the man broke into the victims’ home and, in the middle of an argument, attacked Daicys and her daughter Dailimar with a knife, who tried to defend her mother.

Shortly after, Daimarys and Enderson arrived at the scene. Medina used a blunt object to hit Enderson until he was unconscious and then he murdered them with a knife.

After the crime, tried to simulate a murder-suicide, stripping Enderson of his clothes to divert the investigation before escaping.

The authorities found incriminating evidence, such as clothing with traces of blood and the weapons used in the murder, which allowed Medina’s arrest.
