They arrest a young man accused of murdering his brother after an argument in Nueva Esparta

A 20-year-old young man was detained by the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigation Corps (Cicpc) in the state of Nueva Esparta, for allegedly murder his older brother after a violent argument. The incident took place in the Tubores municipality, according to police sources.

The detainee, identified as Gabriel Narváez, was arrested after his alleged involvement in the death of his brother, Daniel Alexander Narváez Rodríguez, 28, was discovered. According to the first reports from the authorities, the tragic event occurred during a fight between the two, who They were drinking alcoholic beverages.

According to him published report by Douglas Rico, director of the Cicpc, the discussion escalated into a physical confrontation, in which Gabriel Narváez allegedly took a knife and stabbed his brother in the abdomen.

Although Daniel Narváez was taken to a nearby health center in an attempt to save his life, he died three days later as a result of the severity of his injuries.

The family of those involved and the local community are dismayed by the event. Preliminary investigations by the Cicpc indicate that alcohol consumption would have been a determining factor in the escalation of the dispute, which culminated in a fatal outcome.

Gabriel Narváez was placed at the disposal of the Public Ministry, which will be in charge of carrying out the corresponding judicial process.
