They will fine those who wash or do mechanics on the streets of Ccs
People who wash or repair vehicles on the streets of the Libertador municipality of Caracas will be fined and must pay 30 euros at the daily exchange rate.
The fines are covered under article 29 of the municipality’s Citizen Coexistence Ordinance, which establishes: “The following are considered behaviors contrary to the cleaning of public spaces: washing vehicles in public places not suitable for this and carrying out mechanical work on sidewalks.”
Milvida Marcano, Caracas Police officer, assured in statements to Televen that these actions on public roads generate environmental pollution, hinder free movement and cause accidents.
This is not the first fine that the Caracas Mayor’s Office establishes under ordinance. On September 17, it was made clear that the same amount will be charged to those drivers who travel on the BusCCS or the Caracas Metrobús route.
The fine also applies to those who park on the edges or sidewalks of general traffic routes.
