This was Student’s Day at the University of Carabobo
The Central Directorate of Culture of the University of Carabobo anticipated the date and this Wednesday celebrated the University Student Daywith the presentation of the band UC Jazz.
The event took place on the stage of this facility, located in Bárbula, and allowed those present to enjoy a musical journey with the best of this genre.
The group under the direction of Alexander Medina performed Bouncing with Bud, Pfrancing, How in Vietnam, All things you are, Dolphin Dance, Summertime and Conchita de Mango.
The audience also enjoyed the presentation by the group of Dances University of Carabobo, whose members danced some songs performed by the UC Jazz group.
Under the direction of Yini Sánchez, the young people also performed a fusion of Latin and flamenco rhythms.
The energy of the event continued to intensify with the Express Yourself Without Fear activity, which united the public in a creative atmosphere where they could develop their imagination through different drawing techniques.
The celebration also included a poetry recitalin which José Mestre from the functional area of Arts Literature, took those present through the world of verses with the works: Hotel Caracas Sundance and There is a Church on Fire in the middle of my Heart among others.
The director of Culture, María Blanca Rodríguez, She said she was happy for carrying out this activity.
