Tobago Records 23rd Murder For 2024

An Argyle man is Tobago’s latest murder victim.

He has been identified as 27 year old Brandon Edwards of Lammy Road.

According to police reports, neighbours heard several explosions at around 10pm on Friday. Edwards, a sanitation worker, was later found lying unconscious near his home with gunshot wounds about his body.

Police officers from various units, including the Homicide Bureau, Inter-Agency Task Force, and Scarborough CID visited the scene.

The District Medical Officer later pronounced Edwards dead. His death brings the murder toll in Tobago to 23 for the year to date.

Investigations are continuing.
