Trinidad and Tobago’s weather: Hot and hazy but breezy day

Here’s a look at the weather courtesy the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service. 

For the period today until midnight, generally fair but slightly hazy and breezy conditions will likely be interrupted by few intervals of showers during the morning and early afternoon.

There’s a 30 per cent (low) chance of the isolated heavy shower or thunderstorm activity. Few cloudy spells with showers expected overnight, mainly after midnight. 

Gusty winds and street/ flash flooding can occur in the event of heavy showers or thunderstorms.

A mild/moderate concentration of Saharan dust is expected in the atmosphere. People sensitive to these changes in atmospheric quality should take necessary precautions.

Seas are moderate with waves 1.5 metres to two metres in open waters and below one metre in sheltered areas.
