Investigations are underway into Tuesday night’s deadly triple shooting that claimed the lives of three individuals, leaving residents of Upper Petit Valley in shock and fear.

The victims, identified as Salina Rodriguez, Marlon Lee, and Maleek Lee, were killed in a violent attack that occurred around 9:36 p.m. near LP 81 Upper Pioneer Drive. Neighbors were jolted awake by the sound of multiple gunshots.

Officers, who were already on mobile patrol, responded quickly after receiving the report from the command centre.

Upon arrival, they found Rodriguez, who was still clinging to life, discovered inside the house on a bed, calling for help. She was taken to the St. James Infirmary. She was, however, pronounced dead at 10:35 p.m.

Marlon Lee was found lying in a doorway between the bedroom and living room, while Maleek Lee was discovered outside in the yard, both victims of fatal gunshot wounds.
The District Medical Officer, Dr. Nwafor, later arrived to officially declare both men dead at the scene.

The motive behind the killings remains a mystery, with investigators working to uncover what led to the tragic event. Police believe another relative is unaccounted for.

No suspects have been identified.
