THREE OFFICIALS will represent Trinidad and Tobago at the 2024 FIFA Women’s Under-20 World Cup, which is taking place in Colombia, from tomorrow until September 22.
Crystal Sobers will serve as a match referee, while Melissa Nicholas and Carissa Douglas-Jacob will perform assistant-referee duties.
They are the only officials from the Caribbean selected, along with other CONCACAF referees from Mexico, USA and Guatemala.
In acknowledging the appointments, The Trinidad and Tobago Football Association stated: “We extend our heartfelt best wishes to these trailblazers as they continue to shine on the global stage and inspire future generations. Keep flying our flag high!”
