TTPS appoints 8 New ACPs, 6 Senior Superintendents

The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) has promoted eight officers to the rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police and six to the rank of Senior Superintendent of Police.

The promotion ceremony was held on Thursday (September 12)at the Solomon Mc Leod Lecture Theatre, Police Administration Building, Port of Spain.

Commissioner of Police, Erla Harewood-Christopher, congratulated the promoted officers and presented the instruments of appointment to the new Assistant Commissioners and Senior Superintendents. 

She also reminded them of their need to “build an organisation that is competent, agile, effective, and professional.”

The new Assistant Commissioners of Police are as follows:

  • ACP Wayne Mystar
  • ACP Curt Simon
  • ACP Richard Smith
  • ACP Andy Teewarie
  • ACP Brian Soodeen
  • ACP Anand Ramesar
  • ACP Anthony Remy
  • ACP Rishi Singh

The newly appointed Senior Superintendents are:

  • Senior Superintendent Roger Alexander
  • Senior Superintendent Michael Jackman
  • Senior Superintendent Arlet Groome
  • Senior Superintendent Brian Ramphal
  • Senior Superintendent Andrew John
  • Senior Superintendent Christopher Paponette

The TTPS noted that the appointments are effective immediately.
