TTPS Offers $100,000 Reward For Information On Theft Of Cables, Acts Of Vandalism



The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) is offering a $100,000 reward for information leading to the arrests of scrap iron and copper thieves.

Acting Police Commissioner Mc Donald Jacob made the announcement at a Media Conference hosted by the Ministry of National Security on Friday.

Commissioner Jacob noted that a team of investigators were appointed to probe the most recent act of vandalism at a Water and Sewage Authority (WASA) Booster Station in California. He said the situation involving the vandalism of utilities causing disruption in supply, has moved beyond larceny to malicious damage.
