TTPS Tightens Uniform Regulations

The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service (TTPS) is implementing stricter controls on the use of tactical uniforms in response to the uptick in crimes involving fake police officers.

Starting Friday, October 18th, only specific units will be authorised to wear tactical gear – all other officers must wear the standard Patrol Order Number 3 uniform.

This was announced during Thursday’s TTPS Media Briefing.
