Two larceny suspects arrested, items recovered

Two men have been arrested, and stolen items recovered by officers of the Central Division. Between 1 pm and 5 pm on 19 October 2024, officers of the Couva Criminal Investigations Department (CID) conducted an anti-crime exercise after receiving information related to a report of a break-in.

The team of officers proceeded to an address on Southern Main Road, near Pranz Garden Village Savannah, where they reportedly found two men in possession of stolen items. 

These items included several lengths of industrial electrical cords, various tools, and multiple metal pipe fittings.
 
The two men, a 26-year-old from Pranz Gardens, Claxton Bay, and a 34-year-old from Southern Main Road, Claxton Bay, were arrested for the offence. 

The items were seized, and PC Gaskin is continuing enquiries.

This exercise was coordinated by Snr Supt Simon, Supt Glodon, ASP Ablacksingh, Insp Petti, and Insp Sylvan, and supervised by Sgt Nelson.
