Ucevistas demand the freedom of four UCV students

This November 21, University Student Day, the ucevistas took advantage of the date to once again demand the freedom of four students from that university. arbitrarily detained during popular demonstrations against the controversial official results of the elections of the July 28.

In the middle of the Francisco Fajardo highway, the General Secretariat of the Federation of University Centers of the Central University of Venezuela (FCU-UCV), hung a banner demanding the freedom of the four students.

The former candidate for the FCU-UCV Ángel Rodríguez shared on his social networks the images of the fabric, hanging this December 21 November.

During the spontaneous protests on July 29, six students and a professor from the Central University of Venezuela were arbitrarily detained, according to complaints.

On many occasions, students, managers and student movements have demanded the freedom of young people who are still behind bars.

On Sunday, November 17, Professor Salvador Rivera was released, as well as Kleiber Rincón, student of Dentistry, and Santiago Ortega, of International Studies.

They remain detained Rafael Sivira, Armando Solís, Anthony Granadillo and María Valentina Méndez.
