UNES ratifies the expulsion of 71 students for protests on the day of the presidential elections

After a group filed appeals to appeal the decision, The National Experimental University of Security (UNES), Caracas core, ratified the expulsions of 71 students due to the protests that were registered within the institution on the day of the presidential elections on July 28.

The authorities validated the expulsions under the argument of having violated the rules of coexistence related to morality and good customs inside or outside the university. Students expelled from UNES denounce irregularities

At least 25 of the 71 TSU students in Criminology and Criminal Investigation graduated from UNES on August 30, but were subjected to a disciplinary council on September 11, when the group expulsions were reported.
