Until when will the Bello Monte elevated road be closed?

The Bello Monte elevated road, in the Las Mercedes urbanization, is closed since monday due to rehabilitation work.

«Drivers are informed that due to the rehabilitation work on the boards From the Bello Monte overpass, in Las Mercedes, Baruta municipality, Miranda state, the total closure of this road will be carried out,” the Ministry of Transport reported on its social networks.

«We invite our users to take preventive measures necessary for the work carried out by our working class, to guarantee their well-being and safety,” he added.

Until when will the Bello Monte elevated road be closed?

According to the authorities of the government of Nicolás Maduro, the passage through this route will be enabled next Friday, December 6th. However, Darwin González, mayor of Baruta, indicated that it would be this Thursday the 5th.

“This bridge has special characteristics, it cannot be paved. “It has a metal coating and needs special adhesion so that when it rains drivers do not slip, especially those on motorcycles,” he said.

The official said that the Baruta City Hall had already taken the precautionary measure several months ago, which is why the road was closed every time it rained.

«Communications were sent to the Ministry of Transport and we were informed that the bridge will be closed for five days to carry out repair work, “both day and night” he pointed out.

Gonzalez also reported that there are a special operation to speed up traffic on that road, in Rio de Janeiro, which connects with Colinas de Bello Monte.
