Help is on the way for the rice industry as announced by the Agriculture Minister on Wednesday.

In the nineteen nineties the industry was booming with 6 thousand farmers in Trinidad as noted on the Associates website. However, various challenges such as climate change and cost of production increases to name only two, caused the sector to shrink.
