Virgin Our Lady of the Rosary of Chiquinquirá de Aregue returns to her sanctuary on Saturday, October 5

The XVIII March of Faith will be this Saturday, October 5 in Carora. It is the busiest pilgrimage in the Torres municipality and the second in the Lara state. Hundreds of faithful will accompany the Sacred Canvas of Our Lady of Chiquinquirá de Aregue from Carora to its Sanctuary located in the town of Aregue, Chiquinquirá parish.

The pilgrimage It will depart from the San José de Calasanz parish at 4:00 am and will travel through Francisco de Miranda, 14 de Febrero and Pedro León Torres avenues, and then take the road that leads to the town of Aregue.

It should be noted that the patron saint festivities will be from October 4 to 15 in the town of Aregue.

On Friday, October 4 at 4:00 am, the festivities will break, beginning with a joyful awakening with sounds of bells and fireworks, to announce the arrival of the festivities. In the afternoon the blessing of the athletes will take place and the start of the marathon and bicycle races that will start from the monument of the Virgin, located at the entrance via Aregue. And at 6:00 pm there will be the Holy Eucharist, Captain José Cuicas and family, with the runners and athletes of the Chiquinquirá marathon.

On Saturday, October 5 at 4:00 am, the 18th edition of the March of Faith begins from the San José de Calasanz parish to Aregue. This year the motto is “Let us walk in Synodality with Mary Mother of the Church.”
