Today’s Highlights:
Two men were killed and at least three other people, among them a toddler were injured in a shooting outside Roxann’s Learning and Childcare Center at the corner of Basement Road and Coconut Drive in Morvant on Wednesday 25th September, 2024.
• The deceased were identified as Kimo Calliste aka Concrete Nail and Gerald Calliste, while two of the injured victims were identified as 48-year-old Adina Jackson and 4-year-old Dimitri Berkley.
A man identified as Marlon Bradley aka ‘June June’ was shot dead at Abbe Poujade Street in Carenage on Tuesday 24th September, 2024.
• Around 11:00pm, Bradley’s lifeless body was found by relatives moments after several gunshots were heard in the area.
• The police were notified and the responding officers along with a DMO visited the scene, viewed the body, made their pronouncement, and ordered its removal.
• Investigations are ongoing.
59-year-old Carlton Mackie aka Farmer, a construction worker of 6th Avenue, Techier Village, Point Fortin was fatally shot outside his home on Tuesday 25th September, 2024.
22-year-old Jonathan Rose aka Toby of Diamond View Lane, Tattoo Trace, Valencia died after he was stabbed during an altercation with his 22-year-old girlfriend from Arouca at his home on Monday 23rd September, 2024.
24-year-old Akeil Preddie of Sinaswee Street, Bank Village, Carapichaima was shot by armed bandits while playing cards outside his home on Tuesday 24th September, 2024.
20-year-old Ravi St. Clair, aka Chubby, of Limehead Road, Chase Village succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday 25th September, 2024 after he was shot in the head at his home on Tuesday 24th September, 2024.
There were reports of a shooting in Maryland Hill, Belmont on Tuesday 24th September, 2024.
A 35-year-old Sangre Grande man was shot at and robbed when he went to Dorata Street near Pan Land Limited in Laventille to buy a car from a man he met on Facebook Marketplace on Monday 23rd September, 2024.
A Purse-snatching victim was saved by good Samaritans on Chacon Street in Port of Spain. (Video)
Two (2) bandits were arrested moments after they robbed four (4) persons who were conducting business at Mary Leung Restaurant at the corner Sierra Leone Road and Morne Coco Road, Petit Valley on Monday 23rd September, 2024.
A man was fleeced of $16,000TT for three A/C units by a man who claimed to be a furniture store worker outside Furniture House Limited in San Juan in San Juan on Monday 23rd September, 2024.
A 29-year-old man from New Grant was robbed when he went to sell a Play Station 5 to a man he met on Facebook marketplace at the Corner of Amoorsingh Street and Enterprise Street, Longdenville on Monday 23rd September, 2024.
A man snatched a woman’s chain off her neck while she was walking east along Third Avenue Barataria on the Eastern Main Road in Barataria on Monday 23rd September, 2024.
A pensioner was robbed by two men who called him out of his home in Philipine, San Fernando on Monday 23rd September, 2024.
A 43-year-old man attempted to commit suicide at his Barataria home after his wife told him their relationship was over on Sunday 22nd September, 2024.
Children were injured as an SUV crashed into their Cunupia home while they slept around 2am on Monday 23rd September 2024.
