Were 19 people poisoned by an alleged gas leak at the Maracaibo Military Hospital?
At least 19 people were poisoned last Friday night after an apparent gas leak was recorded at the Maracaibo Military Hospital, located on Fuerzas Armadas Avenue.
Journalist Jhorman Cruz reported on social networks that at around 6:00 pm an irregular situation occurred in the hospital, so fire officials evacuated the site.
«Strong odors came from the air conditioning and several people were affected“said a source to Cruz. After 8:00 pm, officials were still at the facilities investigating the origin of the poisoning.
The Maracaibo Fire Department, the Emergency Unit of the Bolivarian National Police (PNB) and VEN911 transferred those affected to the Adolfo Pons Hospital.
However, Maracaibo Firefighters are expected to speak about it in the next few minutes, who are at the scene.
